On April 8, 2025, our Country Manager Catalin received third place at the prestigious Romanian Sustainability and CSR Awards. The award in the Governance category reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible management and building a sustainable future.
Building a Sustainable Future: How We Do It
The submitted project demonstrated how Well Pack Romania S.R.L. integrates sustainable governance principles into everyday operations. Key initiatives include:
- Transition to 100% Renewable Energy
Well Pack Romania S.R.L. has switched entirely to renewable energy sources. As a result, we have reduced electricity-related emissions by 96%, equivalent to circling the planet 200 times in a typical gasoline car every year. - Obtaining environmental management ISO 14001 and BREEAM Excellent Certifications
These certifications affirm our high standards in environmental management and energy efficiency. - Resource Consumption Optimization
We continuously enhance efficiency and reduce water and energy consumption in our washing operations through process modernization and effective operational management. - Promoting a Circular Economy
By introducing 100% recycled PET strapping instead of virgin plastic, we have saved 23,000 kg of virgin plastic.
