Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in our branches in Hungary and Austria who is fluent in English and German to lead our business development efforts within the road transportation and freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transport and logistics, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the road transportation and freight forwarding sectors.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, sales, marketing, and customer service) to ensure alignment of business development strategies with company objectives.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our services and their value.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business partnerships.
• Monitor industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet clients and attend relevant meetings.
• Relevant experiece with preparing tenders, quotations in professional manner considering the transport market (domestic and international) – relevant experience gained on the transport market in Romania and Bulgaria is an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the road transportation and freight forwarding industry.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in both English and German (written and spoken).
• Hungarian language is a MUST
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Active participant in implementing new tools to maintain procedures (CRM)
• Availability to travel frequently.
