CASE
WELL PACK partners with those companies that appreciate the high standards of our fulfillment warehouse. One of them is a well-known German company that offers a wide range of various products that include: clothing, furniture, household items, electronics, and more.
It uses our facilities for storing textiles, shoes, gifts, jewelry, watches, and home accessories. But our cooperation is not limited to storage. We also perform order processing as follows:
- Put the item into a specified plastic box according to the order
- Provide the second quantity inspection with a scanner together with visual quality control before packaging
- Provide additional activities if required before packing the box, such as light gluing, piece packing (fragile), etc.
- Pack in a selected box with documents or other material fillings
- Stick the address label if sticking of other labels (fragile, etc.) is required
- Load into the specified container according to the destination
Several factors have contributed to the effectiveness of this collaboration. First, is the location of the distribution center. It is situated in a town near the CZE-GER border, is a strategic point that makes delivery to Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, and Hungary fast and convenient. Another advantage is that we engage 50-60 workers in full-time employment to undertake this job, so TCHIBO needn’t involve their employees in the process.
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW WAREHOUSES
WELL PACK is able to build a warehouse of any complexity and configuration, specific to clients’ needs. It is possible even in those countries where the company is not yet present. Our prospective clients often ask how much it will cost to build a warehouse. First, it depends on its dimensions and location. Metal warehouse buildings can be constructed quite quickly and can be very effective.
CASE
At the end of July 2020, WELL PACK launched a project in 5 warehouses across 4 countries for its strategic partner. This company focuses on serviced offices, and it needs these warehouses to store office furniture in them. Today, WELL PACK provides not only storage for them, but also performs a more complex service: receiving furniture, storing it, delivering to the clients – around 200 huge business centers, and assembling it based on the order. Our main advantages are quickness, flexibility, and readiness to develop.
RETURNS MANAGEMENT
Returns are an accepted part of doing business, and WELL PACK provides all the management processes associated with returns and reverse logistics: checking the integrity of goods, returning parcels, packing and repacking, marking, and more. The main goal of this service is to get the goods back into the client’s sale process.
CASE
We cooperate with an apparel company to provide returns management services. As with other textile companies operating online, it has a high number of returns because of wrong sizes, colors, and misdeliveries. Our services include:
- Classification of returns according to type: not delivered, not accepted, complaint, damaged packaging, missing piece, etc.
- Scanning of each box with a scanner and checking the content
- Accurate quality control of each piece
- For (un)detected defects, decide on next steps: store for next sale, give a discount for items with a small defect, discard as not for sale, etc.
- Sorting by brand and sorting by type (jeans, t-shirts, etc.)
- System handover for storage
